I don't like to criticize another persons country - but that is one ugly building. Do you know when it was built ?
And do you know what it's going to look like when it's been renovated?
suburban don, don't worry, I realise the building is an eyesore :))
I don't know too much about it, but it definitely was built in the post-war period (I mean after World War II).
It's so ugly that I nominated it as "the next candidate for renovation", but actually (and unfortunately) I don't know anything abuty such plans on the part of the city authorites...
The park next to it is quite nice, though. I spent about five years living next door to that building... I think it was the headquarters of the miner's union, but now many of the offices contain small businesses. And the roof contains many pigeons!
